The Guardian in England has exposed that the Government SECRETLY ordered Verizon to collect information about phone calls placed by all Verizon customers, including law-abiding American citizens. Of course, we know that if Verizon has such a secret order, the other phone companies have received similar orders too.
Interesting that this was leaked to a non-US entity, the leaker got wise after the Rosen affair and worked with an entity from which the US government will have more problems to eavesdrop.
