Contacting your legislators

It is quite easy to send your representative and senators emails. Just click on the links below and fill in the forms with your details and your issues. believe me, if they receive enough messages on a particular topic, they will take notice. We might not get them to change their mind on everything, but even one changed decision would be a victory.

Contact them today and let them know that they do not speak for you and we will seek leaders who reflect our values in future elections. Click here to see how your elected officials voted.

Contact info: then enter your zip code at the top left of page.
You can find your senators' contact information by clicking here.

If you did not know, your senators are Mel Martinez and Bill Nelson. Representatives vary by zip code.

Uniting For America Rally
Lake Eola, Orlando, FL 6 - 8 pm.

All of us are making a difference whether by participating in tea parties, protests or contacting our elected "representatives" to demand this power grab and irresponsible spending needs to stop! We are inviting all of Florida to continue the fight in Orlando on August 22, 2009 by Uniting for America at the amphitheater at beautiful Lake Eola.

This event will focus on effective actions we all can take to protect our nation from liberty despising politicians and destructive legislation such as Cap and Trade and Government controlled health care. Strong focus will be placed on the Florida Sovereignty resolutions that have been entered into our House and Senate and we will have declarations of support to sign to help push this legislation through in 2010!
A bit of history will be shared with us by a Florida Frontiersman whose passion is the Declaration of Independence! Also you can expect a moving tribute to our veterans and troops.

This is what it is all about

It's about spending — too much spending, to be specific. The idea that a business is too big to fail is anti-American; we've always been for the underdog.

It's about putting my family — my children — under $12.8 trillion in debt; all it took was two presidents and six months.

It's about the idea that we're all socialists now.

It's about the idea that the government can force companies, banks and states to take money and the strings that are attached to it, that they didn't want.

It's about power — too much power going to federal government.

It's about corruption — too much corruption, in both parties.

It's about the rule of law — that no one is above the law: if you're here legally or illegally, it applies-never too rich or powerful.

It's about if you write the tax code you should pay your taxes.

It's about the Republic, not mob rule.

It's about the concept of free speech — we've been called insane, lunatics and worse, just for speaking out.

It's about the years of lies from both parties — a Republican Party that claims to be for small government but gives us Medicare Part D that's got $17 trillion in unfunded liabilities.

It's about hypocrisy — both parties claim to be the most ethical, but we get corruption and not one damn person in Washington to speak out against it.

It's about the media that gets into bed with one party and has moved so far left that it can't even begin to see we're not extremists, we're moms and dads who just want to have a Republic for our children; but they can't see it.

The 9 Principles

1. America Is Good.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

God “The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained.” from George Washington’s first Inaugural address.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

Honesty “I hope that I shall always possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider to be the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man.” George Washington

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

Marriage/Family “It is in the love of one’s family only that heartfelt happiness is known. By a law of our nature, we cannot be happy without the endearing connections of a family.” Thomas Jefferson

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

Justice “I deem one of the essential principles of our government… equal and exact justice to all men of whatever state or persuasion, religious or political.” Thomas Jefferson

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

Life, Liberty, & The Pursuit of Happiness “Everyone has a natural right to choose that vocation in life which he thinks most likely to give him comfortable subsistence.” Thomas Jefferson

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

Charity “It is not everyone who asketh that deserveth charity; all however, are worth of the inquiry or the deserving may suffer.” George Washington

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

On your right to disagree “In a free and republican government, you cannot restrain the voice of the multitude; every man will speak as he thinks, or more properly without thinking.” George Washington

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

Who works for whom? “I consider the people who constitute a society or a nation as the source of all authority in that nation.” Thomas Jefferson
