The new national ride of Paul Revere.

Not one, if by land, and two, if by sea;
But airwaves of those aching to be free.

This hero of our nation is carried at night
Not upon a steed, but... by a Fox in flight.
And the spark struck out by Fox’s feat,
Has kindled the land into flame and heat.

Through the night rode the new Paul Revere,
Glenn Beck with his cry of alarm not of fear.
A cry of defiance, and a knock at the door
And a word that shall echo forevermore!
For, borne on the night-wind of the Past,
Thru Glenn Beck all our history, to the last.
In the hour of darkness and peril and need,
The hurrying hoof-beat of that steed,
The people will waken and listen to hear
The midnight-message of Paul Revere.

By David W. Dye, Paraphrased from poem by
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
