When are we going to start teaching our children commonsense

1) What is wrong with something as obviously toy as Nerf guns - so get rid of the "zero tolerance" rule. How about letting the children bring toy weapons but have them vetted for not being too realistic?
2) They should not even think of punishing children until they have checked whether or not the teacher is say it was OK. Again, use some common sense here. It is obvious that the Regressives do not want anyone using their brain in anything to do with guns, they just want to indoctrinate "guns=bad, guns=bad, guns=bad".
