Has this judge actually ever read the Constitution and Bill of Rights? The Fourth Amendment states that "the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated. Although the Founding Fathers did not know about laptops, I believe that either "effects" or "papers" (the latter because we store information similar to what was stored on paper at the time the Constitution was written) would be covered by this Amendment. Time to impeach this judge?

It is sad that this is happening in our country

When something like this happens abroad, we shrug it off as a by-product of being a less developed country. When it happens here we should think hard why we as a people have sunk to this level.

I am biased but I believe the first cause  the divisiveness promoted by the current regime. While we have been tending towards a more us versus them environment, whoever we and they are, the overall example set in many things by the regime has increased this division by many multiples in a short space of time.

Secondly, and I know that many will now brand me as a racist or bigot, I note the location (Southern California) and the ethnicity of the perpetrators (Latinos). Don't get me wrong. I am not accusing all Latinos of being evil or of being illegal.  However, California has a high illegal immigrant population which includes a high level of gang related persons and there is a likelihood that this plays a role here.

Presumed guilty until proven innocent?

In yet another case of turning the rule of law upside down, the Gestapo in Maryland intimidated a legal gun owner, even though he, quite correctly, was not carrying any weapons at the time. While I am a fervent supporter of states rights, incidents like this make a strong argument for a federal law that makes a CCW license like a drivers license, valid in all states. In this particular case I hope that a pro-gun lawyer will take the case and sue the relevant police department heavily for the inconvenience and mental anguish. It is time that we remind these bullies that they are supposed to serve the general public and not look for excuses to turn them into accidental felons. There are very many reasonable law enforcement  officers and it is a shame that these thugs spoil it for the rest.

The Department of Injustice can move quickly, when they want...

In a show of unprecedented political hypocrisy the Obama regime pounced on Christie's Bridgegate and started a federal investigation. While Benghazi, F&F, IRS Tea Party targeting does not warrant the bat of an eye lid from the Department of Injustice, the Regressives are baying for Christie's blood.

Commentators rant in disbelief about Christie's claims that he did not know anything until very recently, the same ones who postulated that it was very obvious that their Messiah could not have known about F&F, Benghazi, the Tea Party targeting, etc.

Fortunately Christie immediately fired the aide involved, while the appointee had already resigned a few weeks ago. How many people have been actually fired after F&F, Benghazi, the Tea Party targeting, etc.?

Unfortunately for Christie, evidence is percolating up that he might have known about this earlier than he claimed. If that is proven, we all know what should, and WILL, happen to those who lie to the American voters. I for one week not be sad to see the back of this RINO bully boy.
