Chicago crime figures have declined over the last year (not sure on chnages of police staffing plus or minus), so what else chnaged. The decline started when....... and the progressives will go nuts about this......the city law preventing personal ownership of handguns was repealed! Instead of an increase in crime as predicted by the left, crime decreased! So in answer to Bite Me, instead of spending $35B on union jobs that funnel that money back to Dem campaign coffers, for $1-2B we can buy everyone a gun and reduce crime across the country.
